Breast cancer is the most common
cancer among women, other than
skin cancer, and it is the second
leading cause of cancer death in
women, after lung cancer.
Fortunately, according to the American
Cancer Society, breast cancer
rates are going down—a decline that’s
probably the result of finding breast
cancer earlier and improved
treatment.
