Refill your prescriptions before a hurricane hits
Photo of a woman playing the guitar; Model used for illustrative purposes only June 1 is the start of the hurricane season in Florida. If a hurricane strikes, power outages, flooding and other problems could prevent you from being able to refill your prescriptions when needed. To ensure you have a plentiful supply of needed medication, we waive “refill too soon” time restrictions for members who live in a county under a hurricane warning. Those members can refill their prescriptions in advance, regardless of when the prescription had most recently been filled.

The waiver applies only to counties under a hurricane warning issued by the National Weather Service, under a state of emergency issued by the governor, or counties where an Emergency Operations Center or Emergency Management Plan has been activated.
