Request the CareCalc estimate when you check in at the desk so you’ll know what’s covered and have a more complete picture when discussing health care decisions with your doctor.

At check out, you may receive an office services summary showing real-time member responsibility.

The summary shows how your health plan benefits are applied and the estimated amount you owe. You can feel comfortable paying the amount shown on the summary.

We want you to know it’s the best possible estimate of your out-of-pocket obligations since it’s based on any deductibles, copayments and coinsurance, where applicable, already processed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida. You will still receive an Explanation of Benefits in the mail detailing your actual member responsibility after the claim has been submitted by your doctor and processed by us.
