Long-term stress has been shown to increase the risk for certain health problems, including depression, heart attack, stroke, gastrointestinal problems and diabetes.

Taking time to relax is the best way to combat stress. Research has shown that relaxation exercises help relieve pain, prevent disease, lower blood pressure, ease muscle tension and promote mental health.
