Dean Health Plan has a new way to help you get information when you call us—our Access Line. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This automated information system will allow you to get information by using the keys on your touch-tone telephone pad
to choose the options you want.
When you call the Access Line, you can:
- get your most current insurance information
- check the effective date of your policy
- find out who your primary care provider is
- verify other insurance information for you or your dependents
- change your address
- order your policy, which includes your Member Certificate, Schedule of Benefits, and Member Handbook
- order a new or additional ID card
- order a Provider Directory
- order a referral brochure
- obtain Customer Service hours and our address
- call Dean On Call’s 24-hour nurse line
- receive a policy overview
Our Access Line is easy to use. All you need is your member number. Just call 1-800-356-7344, ext. 4420, and follow the prompts. You can speak with Customer Service at any time during business hours. Your suggestions and feedback are welcome.
