Our new line of PPO health plans, called BlueChoice, offers an innovative approach to health care coverage. Some plans provide members with a variety of choices, additional benefits such as wellness benefits normally associated with HMO plans and affordable copayments for some services. The flexibility built into the product line lets members choose the right plan for their individual needs and budgets.

BlueChoice’s easy-to-read member handbooks make it simple to understand benefits, and, of course, members can count on their medical coverage even when they are away from home through the BlueCard program recognized throughout the continental United States.

Most employers currently offering their employees our Preferred Patient Care (PPC) product will have the option of choosing BlueChoice on their next renewal date.

BlueChoice will replace our existing PPO product line. New BlueChoice member materials, including the Certificate of Coverage, will be sent to you at the time your employer changes to a BlueChoice PPO plan.

BlueChoice will be available for individual, non-group members early next year. Look for more information on BlueChoice in the future.
