Medicare beneficiaries are
required to pay an annual
$250 deductible under the
standard Medicare prescription
drug benefit. With BlueScript
for Medicare Part D, your
deductible is only $100 for
brand-name drugs. There
is no annual deductible for
generic drugs, and your copay
for generics at a network*
pharmacy is only $5.
What’s more, before you
meet your deductible, you
won’t have to pay standard
retail prices for covered brandname
prescriptions. We’ve
negotiated discounts for you.

For prescription drug costs
totaling between $101 and
$2,250, the BlueScript network
copay is $5 for generics, $30
for preferred brands. Nonpreferred
brands are higher.

What “coverage gap”?
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of
Florida’s HMO subsidiary,

discounts for your covered
prescription drugs during the
coverage gap, when prescription
drug costs total $2,251
until your out-of-pocket costs
reach $3,600 annually.
ActivelyYou members save even
more. Their generic prescription
drug coverage extends
through the gap period.
If your out-of-pocket prescription
drug costs exceed $3,600
during 2006, your BlueScript
for Medicare Part D copay is
only $2 for covered generics
and preferred brands that are
multi-source drugs and $5 for
all other covered drugs—or 5
percent of the cost, whichever
is greater.
